This site is perfect for a number of reasons; By road it is easily accessible from most routes and we have sufficient offsite parking nearby. It is located in close proximity to Glendalough, which is renowned for being one of the most beautiful areas in Ireland. It is also on the door step of numerous Wicklow Way routes, including Luqnaquille which is the highest peak in Leinster. From the Wilderness camp itself, we are under 10mins drive to Glendalough offering hiking and walking trails suitable for all ages. What is also great about our Wilderness Site is that it is located on private land. The areas where the tipis and hammocks are set up are all a good distance away from the main road, making it a secure area for families to relax.
This is a real opportunity for adults and children alike to really reconnect with nature.
